The Pink Pig is such an Atlanta given tradition, but here's the history behind it for any of you who aren't Atlanta locals. Here's Abby Jane stealing an illegal hug from Priscilla that we were supposed to pay for, but Grammy didn't realize it when she encouraged Abby to go say hello. See the hand at left telling me photographs are not allowed. Oops.
Anxiously waiting for our turn!
We again went with my dear friend Katie, her mama, and her sweet little ones. Here is precious Clara with my mom.
Notice the line-up here. Somehow all the kids except Clara ended up riding together. Which is sweet and grown-up, except that it meant that the grown-ups were riding alone there behind Katie... and these seats were intended at most for one adult and one child. Mom and I were spooning to fit in our seat... and the lady checking seat belts still insisted that we buckle up for this ride that goes perhaps 2 mph. We absolutely did not fake the buckle up.
Beautiful mama and girl!
There's an interactive floor pad at Lenox just inside from the ride, and the kids had so much fun doing all the games.
Then we were off for escalator rides (Carlton's favorite part of the morning), waving at Santa (not Joy's favorite), and hot chocolate (everyone's favorite)!
Looking forward to Pink Pig 2013 with sweet friends and grandmas!
