Last Saturday, the Kelleys hosted our family and the Joneses for the morning. It was such a fantastic morning to spend with Auburn friends we sure love, and the Kelleys were fabulous hosts as always! Laura and I were dear friends at Auburn, and Shelley and Laura were dear friends, but Shelley and I didn't really discover each other until after we had moved back to Atlanta a few year ago. Getting both of these amazing ladies at one time was just a delight to me. Not to mention that they have fantastic husbands, so all in all, it was just a fun group.
Grayson was the only boy with seven girls, but he held his own with the marshmallow gun. See the white dot by Joy's cheek? That's a marshmallow about to find its mark!
Another big hit was the zipline. The dads helped the kiddos keep that swing in motion almost constantly the whole time we were there! Here are Grayson and Piper riding spider.
Katie holding court, fancy as always.
Clockwise, starting with Katie (2) at bottom left: Joy (3), Abby Jane with a Wonder Woman headband look (4), Piper (4), Blythe (3), Anna Beth (5), Grayson (4), Parker (1).
That night we had our first family movie night and watched the Polar Express, complete with popcorn! In what some might consider our treats-deprived home :), it was a really special night for the girls!
